A Poem
I wait for the Redemption like a new retiree for the Delta boarding announcement to Florida, my heart pulsing almost as fervently as when I entered the gates of Disneyland for the first time.
I pray as fervently as anyone for an end to exile, with its endless problems, like supermarket shrimp sandwiches I cannot eat.
I listen to inspiring lectures whenever I have time paying rapt attention if the room is satisfactorily air-conditioned.
I worry for the sake of Heaven when the economic recession declines and girls like me can't necessarily get manicures as often; the shidduch crisis deepens.
I do my part to save our people. I torment myself by refraining from live entertainment for three weeks-- instead, only movies and, maybe, some particularly well done a capella.
